Set the Mood of Your Illustration
(and Make Your AD Happy)

with Amal

Nov. 21, 7pm to 8:30pm Central time

AmalThe mood of illustrations feeds the story told in the book. In this webinar, illustrator Amal will help you find the right mood for your illustrations.

Here's more from Amal on the content of this webinar:

"Focus on value studies to maintain the tone and attitude of your illustration—from your initial thumbnail sketch to your final drawing, straight through to your final art. Working from a line of text, we will work together to build a strong, comprehensible value study. Regardless of the media you use to create your final art the process must include a strong initial stage to have a strong finale."

Recommended materials:

Heavy drawing paper, white or off-white – 11” x 14” or larger

Support board for paper with clips or safe-for-paper tape

2B + 4B (darker if you have them) drawing pencils sharpened, please!
