You’ve toiled with your manuscript. You’ve edited. You’ve had that sucker critiqued numerous times and edited again. It’s time for that story to see daylight. It’s time to pitch! Whether you are querying an agent, querying an editor directly, or pitching an agent or editor at our upcoming annual conference, this session is for you. Austin SCBWI ARA and author Lindsay Leslie will walk you through the 101 of query/pitch development and then we will spend most of our time breaking off into groups and practicing, because practice makes pitch-fect. (Yeah, that’s a lame pun, but we’re going with it.) Can’t wait to see you all there!
No RSVP necessary. We will gather on Zoom at 7 p.m. and use the chatrooms to practice in groups. A link will be posted an hour before the event.
