ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This conference offers you opportunities to learn your craft, boost your career, get feedback on your work, and meet and make friends with fellow children’s book writers and illustrators. The schedule includes three keynotes; a publishing panel; an agent panel, breakout sessions on writing, illustrating and professional development; intensives on picture books, novels and illustration; along with critiques, pitches, portfolio showcase, and more.

Due to uncertainty after Austin once again went into stage 5 because of COVID, we were forced to once again hold our conference online. However, we will be holding an in-person social on the Saturday night for Austin-area attendees. We also understand that online conferences can be taxing, so we’re seeking to record as much of it as we can. More details will be out soon.
