The schedule includes three keynotes; a publishing panel; 12 breakout sessions on writing, illustrating and professional development; intensives on picture books, novels and illustration; along with critiques, pitches, portfolio showcase, cookies and more. Writers, you may purchase one (1) critique with an agent or editor and/or multiple critiques with our faculty authors. You may also purchase one (1) pitch with an agent or editor. (Note that critiques will only be on Saturday and pitches will only be on Sunday.) The genres they critique are listed on the registration form and in their bios. Before you register, we strongly recommend that you read the faculty bios, which include details about which genres each faculty member critiques as well as their critiquing style.
Illustrators, you may purchase portfolio and/or dummy reviews with our art director and/or illustrators. What they will review are listed on the registration form and in their bios. Before you register, we strongly recommend that you read the faculty bios, which include details about each member's critiquing style.
